On a showery but warm Belgium summer day,
20 golfers from SGA and Mont Garni, took up the annual challenge between these 2 local clubs.
The standard of play was exceptional from
all players, with many holes being won with birdies (both net and gross).
SHAPE fielded 2 debutants, Per Skjegstad
and Michael Krauland, both of whom had graduated from the Thursday night scrambles to represent SGA in this match. Like all they thoroughly enjoyed the matches and we all hope to see them again in the Green of SHAPE.
The victors on the day were SGA who won
4 of the 5 matches and completed a 10 to 5 winning margin over all matches played.
Well done to the SGA team and we are all
looking forward to the challenge against Mont Garni in 2009 at their beautiful Golf Course
